Privacy Policy

When you create an account: your email address, a display name, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store the password itself.

As you use CornerMMAn: what you write and choose. That means Fighter Notes, Edges and Holes, Tape Notes, Picks and My Take, round scores from Fight Night mode, and the Receipts and Track Record worked out from them. This is your own book, and we store it so the app can show it back to you.

When you sign in or sign up: we briefly record each attempt so we can slow down password guessing. For a sign-in that's the email address you typed and your IP address; for a sign-up it's your IP address. These records exist only to count recent attempts, aren't linked to your profile or your book, and records older than a day are cleared out periodically.

When you visit: our hosting provider handles your IP address and basic request details (like the page you asked for) in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use that information to build a profile of you.

Cards, Bouts, and the record and stats on a Fighter File are shared facts. Every signed-in user sees them, and any signed-in user can edit them. Your own notes, Edges and Holes, Tape Notes, Picks, and scores belong to your account, and other users don't see them.

Because shared entries are open to everyone, keep personal information out of them. Fight facts only.

• To run your account and show your book back to you.
• To grade your Picks and work out your Track Record.
• To keep the service secure and stop abuse, including limiting sign-in attempts.

That's the full list. We don't use your notes or Picks for anything else.

CornerMMAn sets one cookie, a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days, is only sent to our own site, and can't be read by scripts on the page. It isn't used for advertising and doesn't follow you to other sites. Signing out removes it.

When you visit, your browser also keeps copies of the app's styles, scripts, fonts, and icons (and, if you install CornerMMAn to your home screen, uses them to open without a connection). Those files are the same for everyone. They contain none of your personal information or your book.

We use a small number of services to run CornerMMAn:

• Vercel hosts the app and sees your IP address and request details when you load a page.
• Neon hosts the database where your account and your book are stored.
• Cloudflare runs the domain name lookup for cornermman.com.

When someone imports a Card, our server reads the public event page from Wikipedia. That request contains the page being fetched and nothing about you.

We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

We keep your account and your book for as long as your account exists. To delete your account, email support@cornermman.com from the address you signed up with. We'll delete your account and everything in your book.

Shared entries (Cards, Bouts, and the record and stats on a Fighter File) are fight facts rather than your personal data, so they stay for the other users. Your own Fighter Notes, Edges and Holes, Tape Notes, Picks, and scores are deleted with your account. Copies of deleted data may remain in our database provider's backups for a limited time before they're overwritten.

Passwords are hashed before they're stored, the session cookie is signed, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. No service is perfectly secure, so pick a password you don't use anywhere else.

CornerMMAn is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and its date. For a change that matters, we'll do more than change the date.
